Tailoring Success

The KU Public Management Center provides the organizations of Kansas and its public sector professionals with tools for achieving and managing successful work environments. Depending on your needs, our courses are available in Customized or Open Enrollment formats.

Custom Courses Open Enrollment Workshops
  • Designed to meet the needs of specific organizations, departments, or units
  • Can range from part-day to multi-day according to your group's needs
  • We'll be happy to provide these courses at the location of your choice (with a minimum number of people).

 

 

  • Open to any individuals and provide a training setting that brings together participants from multiple public service agencies
  • We generally offer these at the PMC in Topeka or in the Kansas City metro area, including the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park.

Courses are offered when minimum enrollment numbers are met. All courses are also available on a contract basis or as a conference or retreat speech.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: We understand that circumstances may arise that make you unable to attend an event/course for which you have registered. You may send someone else in your place, but you must notify us of that change a minimum of three business days prior to the event/course. There is no fee for this substitution.

If sending someone else isn’t an option, you can cancel your registration up to two weeks prior to the event/course and your registration fee will be refunded, less a $25 per person administrative charge. We regret that we cannot provide a refund if you cancel less than two weeks in advance of the event/course. If you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.

We reserve the right to cancel the event/course and return fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee less any administrative charges. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
