The Emerging Leaders Academy received the "Exceptional Noncredit Program" award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education Region 8 at its annual conference in Kansas City on February 29, 2008. ACHE Region 8 gave the PMC this award in recognition of ELA's innovations in curriculum and public sector partnerships.
